Founded in 2024 in Chicago’s West Town neighborhood, Tala is a gallery and contemporary art space that nurtures curatorial practice, public programming, and communal gathering. The gallery showcases the work of emerging and mid-career artists who are based in (or developing meaningful ties to) Chicago. With an atrium storefront, exhibition space, and library study room, Tala’s distinctive architectural design fosters a dynamic, discursive program that champions experimentation and alternative models of engagement.
