M. LeBlanc is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2017 by independent curator Marc LeBlanc. Located in a distinctive fin-de-siècle storefront in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood, the gallery presents solo and curated group exhibitions by an international roster of artists working across painting, sculpture, new media, and installation.

Since its inaugural solo exhibition Kristen Stewart by Berlin-based artist Hans-Jörg Mayer (b. 1955, Singen, Germany), M. LeBlanc has established itself as one of Chicago’s leading venues for incisive contemporary art with a program beloved for bringing canonical and mid-career artists into conversation with a prescient cohort of younger voices. Now in its eighth year, the gallery’s program represents over a dozen artists based in Berlin, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Montreal.

M. LeBlanc is deeply committed to fostering meaningful relationships with artists by supporting long-term artist-led projects that push boundaries and expand the possibilities of contemporary practice. By presenting work across a wide range of media, formats, and geographies, the gallery cultivates a cohesive program that responds thoughtfully to the complex social and artistic challenges of today.

In addition, M. LeBlanc extends its reach through original publications and itinerant curatorial projects. These initiatives, including reading series, film screenings, and off-site exhibitions, offer deeper context for the gallery and amplify critical work within the community and beyond. M. LeBlanc also regularly participates in prominent national and international art fairs while maintaining ongoing collaborations with institutions, curators, and cultural organizations committed to contemporary art.
