Bert Green Fine Art is pleased to present an artist talk with Mac Pierce for his current exhibition, Deathmatch, on view through October 18, 2025.
Mac Pierce is concerned with the influence of technology on society and culture, with a special emphasis on the tendencies for technocratic overreach and surveillance to contribute to social decay and violence. His work utilizes 3D printing, coding, video, computer hardware, video game content, and carefully selected text and data, synthesized into a conceptual framework.
Given contemporary national and world political trends, Pierce’s work takes on added significance as many of his conceptual approaches have shown to be relevant to the realities of recent current events.
